Mehmet is a semi-self-taught designer working with his hands and his computer. 
Having a material science and engineering background, he studied design products at the Royal College of Art. 
Mehmet founded Studio Birtane in 2023 to focus on his creative expression, nurtured by his passion for design, craft, and manufacturing.
